CS4HS (Computer Science for High School) is a Google sponsored program to promote computer science and computational thinking in the high school curriculum. FIU has received a 2013 CS4HS grant from Google's Education Group, and is delighted to offer a 3-day, hands-on workshop to regional high-school computer science, mathematics, and technology teachers/students.
Our goals are to provide teachers/students with
(1) ideas they can immediately include into their teaching/learning;
(2) a forum to share approaches with each other; and
(3) ideas and support for advancement in computer science teaching and learning.
Location: The workshop will be held at FIU MMC campus (11200 SW 8th St., Miami, FL 33199).
Sessions will be held in ECS building as noted below.
Unless otherwise stated, all events will take place on classroom ECS 141
